Health and Safety
We are so excited to be back to throwing a festival with you all. We’ve been working closely with city and public health officials to create a thorough health and safety plan for our festival this year. Health and Safety rules will become more detailed as we approach the festival dates, and are subject to change as federal and local regulations evolve. We encourage all attendees to thoroughly read festival communications on our website, email list, and/or social media. And lastly, we humbly request your patience and understanding with this ever-moving target, and with your fellow festival-goers—let’s get back into live music together.
All attendees, vendors, staff, artists, and anyone ages 12 and older entering Union Park will need to be fully inoculated against COVID-19, or have proof of a negative PCR test within the past 24 hours, for each day of the Festival.
In accordance with current IDPH and CDPH guidelines, masks will be required throughout festival grounds. Masks may be removed when eating and drinking. Pitchfork is working closely with local health officials and will continue to update this policy as local guidelines become available.
Resource and Response Center
Since 2018, Pitchfork Music Festival has featured an on-site Resource and Response Center where professionally trained counselors and a dedicated security team are available to attendees who witness or experience behavior in violation of Pitchfork Music Festival’s Code of Conduct.
We understand that getting back to a crowded festival might bring on new and unexpected responses, so we will have additional staff on hand, trained in crowd anxiety and other related fields. Please be kind and understanding of your fellow fest-goers.
Further Information and Assistance
We make every effort to create a safe environment on the festival grounds, including public and private security and medical staff throughout the festival. If you have a specific question regarding safety, security, or medical information, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
